Tony Hawk has a feature in the New York Times Jobs section. I guess the job he’s talking about is being a professional skateboarder. Sure, it can be a career choice for a select few, but it’s not exactly a viable choice for most of us… especially with the competition that is out [...]

Marty Murawski is the newest pro on Bluprint, and it is well deserved. This is one of the best parts I’ve seen in awhile and Blueprint is lucky to have him.

This dude did a nice little compilation to some tricks from 2009. Some are good, some are great. Judge it for yourself. I did notice one was by my man Gareth Stehr here in Raleigh, NC on the satellite dish. Pretty tight.

Skatemodo: Who is Open Skateboards?
Trevor: We are Trevor Sias and Ian Lynam. Artists with a long-running passion for skateboarding.
Skatemodo: How long have you been doing this?

Sorry, I missed a week or two again. But It’s back, and quite frankly, I’m confused. This Marcus Savage kid video is too good to be true. It’s ridiculous. So if anyone has heard of him, let me know, I can’t imagine he’s not already sponsored. Of course, he’s probably [...]

Here’s a good way to wake up on a Thursday morning. Something chill. Go pour yourself a cup of coffee, and come back to your ipad computer and give this a look. It’ll put you in a good mood.

Girl’s recently renovated park rivals… but doesn’t quite beat the berrics. In any case, it looks fun. Enjoy

A bunch of Red Bull dudes including Brandon Biebel, Zered Bassett, Ryan Decenzo, Ron Deily, and Magnus Hanson filmed themselves being radical in Vancouver. The results are predictably radical… especially where they bust out the moves on a cable. What is this? Tony Hawk 11?

The winter olympics are coming up and it’s starting to make me all patriotic and stuff. So naturally, I did a little searching around for a great Canadian.
Brandon Del Bianco, like all good Canadians, gave up Hockey for skateboarding. Now he serves us Canucks by throwin’ down buttery nollie noseslides and front crooks [...]

Rick and John are in a new movie about a kid who wants nothing more than to be on the greatest skateboard team ever… GIRL Skateboards Machotaildrop. The trailer is amazing. It’s kind of a Where the Wild Things Are meets Charlie and The Chocolate Factory Meets Birdhouse’s The End. Judging from [...]

Es put out it’s spring 2010 catalog today. You can check it out here. I say this while wearing a pair of Es shoes on my feet. But where is the creativity? All I see are all the same shoes I’ve seen before. Boring

Transworld put up P-Rod’s part from In Bloom with a commentary overlaid by P-Rod. Not only is the part STILL awesome, but the commentary is actually adds some interesting elements to the video.

Supra Footwear is releasing a truckload of shoes this spring that are surprisingly normal. And I like them!
Supra has released some butt-nasty shoes in the past. Witness exhibit A.
Damn, did nobody tell them they should never mix gold with silver?
The new shoes are completely wearable for a suburb dwelling white [...]

NYC’s Naysayer is up to no good. They’re making me laugh at inappropriate things, like dogs biting vaginas, no joke. We did an interview with Naysayer a couple of months back. They released a promo… the first song alone is worth a listen. Viewer discretion advised…. seriously.
Naysayer Skateboards – In An [...]
